Job Description

The Right Person The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing mechanical systems, conceptualizing and prototyping new products, designing and validating integrated mechanical-electronic systems, and developing advanced automation solutions.
This role demands the ability to deliver effective, original solutions within tight timelines. Ideal candidates must demonstrate versatility across engineering disciplines and a willingness to explore emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Research, design and develop intelligent systems, machinery and mechatronic components, devices, and equipment
Create automated systems and the software to control them Design prototypes for intelligent systems and mechatronic products Develop design documents for mechanical parts and final products
Conduct computer modelling and simulations to assess mechatronic products performance Analyse mechatronics prototype test results and provides solutions on how to improve performance Design, build and implement mechatonic product modifications to improve safety, functionality and reliability
Conduct research, documenting findings, and presenting reports at meetings Identify areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement Ideal applicants must possess the following:
Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related engineering field required Relevant work experience Strong foundation in control systems, automation, and embedded software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize systems Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions Strong communication and presentation skills
Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Documentation and organization skills Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study and process balancing
Skills A commitment to high health, safety, and environmental workplace standards Commitment to achieving NEPEAN’s project plan and business objectives
Adaptability and Flexibility with work personality that strongly aligns with NEPEAN’s DNA Ability to work effectively in a team Must possess excellent work ethics
