My client an award winning Builder requires an on-site Health & Safety Officer for construction project based projects around Sydney metro and western suburbs .

Responsibilities

- Operate sites with a best practice approach to health and safety.
- Provide qualified advice and service to all areas of operation.
- Supporting the HSEQ Manager to ensure Safety management system and policies are up to date.
- Facilitate inductions and safety meetings.
- Provide internal safety observations, audits, and workplace inspections.
- Immediately notify the Construction Manager on Health and Safety issues
- Maintain and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.
- Onboarding Subcontractors onto site
- SWMS and toolbox talks

About You

- Construction site safety experience especially in the Civil and Commercial Sector.
- Minimum of Certificate IV WHS including current first aid certificate
- Strong understanding of WHSE site compliance requirements.
- Positive attitude, excellent time management and organizational skills.
