About the Role
As our Queensland team continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Restoration Technician who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems and delivering great outcomes for customers.
As a Restoration Technician, you’ll respond to emergency call-outs, assess property damage and carry out restoration works across a variety of projects. It's varied, hands‑on work that's never boring

At Reconstruct™, we help people get back on their feet after fire, flood and storm damage. Working alongside Australia’s leading insurers, we deliver high-quality restoration and insurance repair services across residential and commercial properties.
What you'll do
Here's what your day‑to‑day could look like:
- Respond to emergency call-outs and assess property damage
- Carry out detailed site assessments and write up accurate reports
- Perform water extraction, drying, mould remediation, and structural cleaning
- Operate restoration equipment safely and effectively
- Restore affected properties through light repair and renovation
- Communicate with clients and project managers throughout each job
- Participate in scheduled after‑hours and weekend work (with generous rates)
About you
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 3+ years’ experience in restoration or a similar trade‑based role
- Solid knowledge of water damage, fire, smoke, and mould remediation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's licence, police check, and working with children check
- IICRC qualifications (highly regarded)
