About the Role

PaintRight is seeking a motivated and reliable Store Manager to lead our St Marys store.

This is a full-time position offering significant autonomy and responsibility. You will be the primary team member based at the store, managing day-to-day operations, serving customers, maintaining stock, and ensuring the continued growth of both retail and trade sales.

As part of the role, a company delivery vehicle will be provided and may be taken home by the successful candidate.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the St Marys store

- Build robust relationships with retail, trade, and commercial customers

- Provide product advice and solutions both in-store and over the phone

- Prepare, tint, and mix paint orders accurately

- Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and overall store presentation





- Process sales, quotations, orders, and customer enquiries

- Handle point-of-sale transactions, cash handling, and end-of-day procedures

- Identify opportunities to grow both retail and trade business

- Ensure customers receive exceptional service every time they visit

What You'll Need

Previous retail, hardware, paint, building supplies, or trade industry experience

Robust customer service and communication skills

The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of the store

Good organisational and time management skills

Physical fitness and the ability to safely lift paint products weighing up to 30kg

A current driver's licence

Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic
