As our Student Wellbeing Support Officer, you'll become the operational hub of the Student Wellbeing team- coordinating information, managing critical student records, responding to enquiries, supporting the Under 18 Student Care Program and ensuring our wellbeing services run smoothly every day. We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused administrator who loves bringing order to complexity, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in knowing that the work they do behind the scenes has a real impact on students' lives.
Your day to day will consist of:
Delivering outstanding customer service by responding to student, parent, and stakeholder enquiries via phone, email, face-to-face, and online channels..
Support the administration and welfare monitoring of under 18 international students, including maintaining records and preparing regular reports.
Ensure compliance with College policies, privacy requirements, and relevant legislation relating to international education and student welfare.
Monitor student wellbeing through regular welfare check-ins, working closely with Student Wellbeing Advisors to ensure students are appropriately supported.
Maintain and update student records, documentation, interview schedules, and reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
Perform other administrative and student support duties as required to support the Student Wellbeing Manager and broader Student Support team
What makes you perfect for the role?
Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent communication skills, delivering concise information and advice in person and via telephone and emails
Able to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships
A working with children check, or eligibility to apply for a check
Mandarin speaking is advantageous but not essential
