We'relooking for an experienced, organised and solutions-focused Compliance &Risk; Coordinator to grow and lead our compliance function. Reportingdirectly to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll become a trusted advisor to theExecutive Team, working across the organisation to strengthen governance,manage risk and ensure the Club remains compliant in an increasingly complexregulatory environment.

Aboutthe role
Complianceisn't just about ticking boxes it's about protecting the organisation, enablinggood decision-making and helping the business operate with confidence.
As theCompliance & Risk Coordinator,
you'll play a pivotal role in embedding aculture of accountability, continuous improvement and proactive risk managementacross the Group.
Yourresponsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and continually improving theClub's enterprise risk management framework.
- Monitoring compliance with Liquor & GamingNSW requirements, WHS legislation, AUSTRAC obligations, privacylegislation and other regulatory requirements.
- Conducting internal compliance reviews,identifying risks and recommending practical improvements.
- Coordinating regulatory audits, inspectionsand submissions while maintaining strong relationships with externalregulators.
- Maintaining policies, procedures and documentcontrol systems to ensure they remain current and effective.
- Managing incident reporting, investigationsand corrective actions.
- Developing engaging compliance communicationsand delivering practical training that supports a culture of sharedresponsibility.
- Working collaboratively with managers toidentify operational risks and implement effective controls.
- Preparing meaningful compliance and riskreports for the Executive Team and Board.
- Supporting governance projects and continuousimprovement initiatives across the organisation.
- Contributing to the Club's AI Working Group byidentifying opportunities to automate processes, improve reporting andstrengthen compliance outcomes using emerging technologies.
Aboutyou
You'llbe someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity,
solving problems andhelping organisations improve.
- Experience in compliance, governance, audit orrisk management, ideally within hospitality, gaming or another highlyregulated industry.
- A sound understanding of regulatory frameworksincluding Liquor & Gaming NSW, WHS legislation, privacy obligationsand AUSTRAC requirements.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skillswith exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to interpret legislation andtranslate it into practical business processes.
- Strong written communication skills withexperience preparing reports, policies and executive documentation.
- Confidence working with regulators, seniorleaders and operational teams.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism anddiscretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong technology skills and a genuineinterest in innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience within the registered club industrywill be highly regarded but is not essential.
