About the Opportunity

Danny Met Sally is expanding! We're excited to be opening a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Sawtell, and are seeking experienced, compassionate Support Workers to join our team.

In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to a participant moving into the home, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, medication assistance, community access, and other individual support needs.

This is a fantastic prospect for passionate and experienced Support Workers with flexible availability who are committed to making a genuine difference in someone's life while helping to establish a supportive and welcoming new home.

Due to the participant's background, only Female Support Workers are required for this position. Thisis recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption andoccupation qualificationand is authorised under(Part 3, Division 2, Section 31 (1), (2) (a-i), (3) & (4) of the NEW SOUTH WALES Anti-Discrimination Act 1977).

About You





To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded support workers that uphold and represent our core values:Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold.

In addition to our values, our support staff requiremandatory compliance:

- 6+ months minimum experience as a Support Worker
- Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry)
- Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Medication Administration Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability across a 24/7 roster and ability to work overnights (passive or active)
