Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experienced Structural Revit Drafter to join our Brisbane team.
The successful applicant will focus primarily on producing structural models and detailed construction documentation using Autodesk Revit. Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation will be highly regarded but is not essential.
This position will commence on a contract basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role based on performance, project requirements and ongoing workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop structural Revit models and detailed drawings.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections and construction documentation.
- Coordinate structural models with engineers and other disciplines.
- Update drawings from mark-ups, design changes and engineering comments.
- Maintain model accuracy, drafting quality and project standards.
- Assist with AutoCAD and MicroStation documentation where required.
Essential Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience in structural drafting.
- Robust and demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Experience preparing structural construction documentation.
- Good understanding of concrete, steel and structural detailing.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches and technical mark-ups.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Appropriate Australian working rights.
Desirable
- AutoCAD experience.
- MicroStation experience.
- BIM coordination experience.
- Industrial, commercial or infrastructure project exposure.
