Core Cabinetry is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our Geebung workshop.

We deliver custom commercial joinery projects across hospitality, retail and commercial fit-outs, including bars, venues, shopfronts and bespoke joinery packages for some of Australia's leading brands and venues.

This role would suit a skilled tradesperson who enjoys hands-on cabinet making, takes pride in quality work, and is confident working from drawings through to manufacture and occasional installation.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and occasional installation of custom commercial joinery. This role requires robust traditional cabinet making and joinery skills, with all work completed using conventional machinery and hand tools, without the use of CNC machinery.

This is a Monday to Friday workshop-based role, with occasional site installation work as required.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Manufacturing and assembling custom commercial joinery

Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications

Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools

Working with a range of materials and finishes

Checking quality and ensuring work is completed to a high standard





Assisting with site installations when needed

Working with the team to meet project deadlines

Occasional travel may be required for site installations or interstate projects.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Certificate III in Cabinet Making / Joinery, or strong relevant experience

Experience in commercial joinery or custom cabinetry

Ability to read and work from shop drawings

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Experience using standard woodworking machinery and hand tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and professional attitude

Experience with traditional/non-CNC joinery manufacturing is essential for this role.
