We are seeking a Conveyancer to join our dynamic team at CJC Law in North Lakes, Queensland. It is a hybrid role with room for negotiation about how much time to spend in the office.
As a Conveyancer, you will play a vital role in guiding our clients through the complexities of property transactions, ensuring seamless and stress-free experiences. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
What you will be doing
- Preparing and lodging contracts, transfers, and other legal documents for the sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to gather and provide information throughout the conveyancing process
- Conducting property title and other relevant searches to identify any issues or concerns
- Coordinating the settlement process, including managing funds and liaising with financial institutions
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining clear communication with clients
- Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry best practices
- Assisting with other legal and administrative tasks as required
What we are looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Conveyancer, with a solid understanding of property law and the conveyancing process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and accessible manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Proficient in the use of conveyancing software and relevant computer programs
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
