Graduate Surveyor / Tecnician – Penrith / Greater Sydney

Landair Surveys is growing in Current South Wales, and we’re looking for a Graduate Surveyor with at least one year’s experience to join our Penrith-based team.

The opportunity
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to keep learning, take responsibility and gain experience across a broad mix of surveying work. Based from our Penrith office, you’ll work on projects across Greater Sydney, with the support of experienced surveyors who are committed to helping you develop your technical confidence and professional judgement.
- Feature and level surveys for land development, infrastructure and local government projects
- Cadastral surveys for commercial property transactions
- Engineering surveys, set out surveys and construction support
- Volume, compliance and as-built survey calculations
What you’ll do
- Complete fieldwork and office computations for a range of surveying projects
- Prepare and check survey data, calculations, plans and deliverables
- Contribute to quality assurance checks and accurate project reporting
- Work closely with senior surveyors and project teams to solve practical survey challenges
- Follow Landair’s policies, procedures, safety requirements and quality standards
About you
- Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Spatial Science or a related discipline
- At least one year of practical surveying experience
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship
- Sound technical ability and a willingness to keep learning
- Clear communication skills and a practical, team-focused attitude
- Experience with Trimble instruments and Liscad would be highly regarded, but training can be provided

Location and work type
- Office: Penrith, with flexibility to work from home where appropriate
- Fieldwork: Generally across Greater Sydney, with occasional Australia-wide travel and overnight stays
