About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gaming Supervisor to join a busy, community-focused hospitality venue where you'll play a key role in leading daily gaming and bar operations. Offering $85K + super, the role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about customer service, compliance, and team development. You'll work closely with venue leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining exceptional guest experiences across gaming and beverage service.
Flexible rosters across day and night shifts provide genuine variety and work-life flexibility.
Position Description
- Supervise daily gaming and bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest service
- Lead, support, and motivate front-of-house team members throughout each shift
- Monitor gaming operations to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
- Deliver strong customer service while resolving guest enquiries professionally
- Conduct shift briefings and support daily operational communication
- Assist with cash handling, gaming reconciliations, and venue reporting
- Support staff training and maintain high operational and compliance standards
- Assist with TAB and Keno operations during service
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming venue environment
Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a Gaming Supervisor, Duty Manager, or senior hospitality role
- Strong bartending experience is essential
- TAB and Keno experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Excellent understanding of gaming operations and regulatory compliance
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Current RSA, RCG, and Advanced RCG certifications are essential
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- Availability to work flexible day, evening, and weekend rosters
