About the opportunity
Based in Miles, QLD, and working a 2:1 DIDO roster from Brisbane, we're looking for an experienced E&I; Supervisor to lead the safe and successful delivery of electrical and instrumentation works on a significant Oil & Gas construction project.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Engineers and QA/QC professionals to drive construction progress, coordinate multidisciplinary crews, and ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

In this role you will:
- Lead and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities in line with project schedules, drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate and direct site crews, subcontractors, plant and equipment to maximise productivity and project performance.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, project specifications and HSEQ requirements.
- Work closely with Project Engineers and QA/QC personnel to manage inspections, ITPs, ITRs, commissioning documentation and quality outcomes.
- Review technical documentation including P&IDs;, single line diagrams, cable schedules, loop drawings and construction packages.
- Manage permits, isolations,
risk assessments and site safety activities, maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
- Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve site issues, and provide accurate daily reporting.
- Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics and workforce planning to minimise downtime and keep works progressing.
- Foster robust relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
About you
You're an experienced E&I; construction leader who thrives in fast-paced Oil & Gas environments. You know how to motivate teams, maintain high safety standards, and deliver quality outcomes while keeping projects on schedule.
You'll bring:
- Trade qualification as an Electrician, with Hazardous Area (EEHA) certification essential.
- Cert IV in Instrumentation (highly regarded).
- Proven experience supervising Electrical & Instrumentation construction works on Oil & Gas, LNG, mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, commissioning readiness and QA/QC requirements.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, electrical drawings, loop diagrams, cable schedules, ITPs and project documentation.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating subcontractors, managing site resources and driving construction productivity.
- Excellent understanding of permit systems, isolations, risk management and HSEQ compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation systems.
