Airport Retail Group Australia (ARGA) is searching for an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead Windmill & Co, located in the heart of the Brisbane International Terminal.

Our Brisbane Airport operation is a diverse multi-million-dollar Food & Beverage hospitality business consisting of multiple premium venues with a team of 200 hospitality professionals. Our Venues include; Windmill & Co, The Aviary, The Lord Lamington, The Coffee Club – Three venues AND 3 new venues opening towards the end of the year

Windmill & Co is the largest restaurant and bar within Brisbane International Airport, offering an exciting combination of full table service dining, counter service, an extensive beverage offering and uninterrupted runway views. Every day, you'll welcome thousands of guests from around the world, delivering memorable hospitality experiences before they take flight.

About the Role

As Venue Manager, you'll lead all aspects of the venue's operation, creating a positive team culture, driving financial performance and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. Working alongside our General Manager and Executive Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence one of the airport's flagship venues while developing your own leadership career.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing hospitality team.




- Drive a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork and service.
- Manage labour, wages and venue profitability.
- Maintain exceptional food safety, compliance and WHS standards.
- Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory.
- Recruit, onboard and develop future leaders.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences across restaurant and bar operations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Airport Retail Group Australia.

About You

- Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager or Hospitality Manager.
- Strong leadership and people development skills.
- Experience in high-volume hospitality operations.
- Commercially minded with strong financial acumen.
- Hands-on leader who leads by example.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience across restaurant, café and/or bar operations.
- Flexible to work across a seven-day rotating roster.
