At Protech, safety is achieved through relationships, influence and credibility - this role is not a desk position. Instead, the successful candidate will be providing hands-on support to make better safety decisions, through partnering with business leaders & clients, building trust and asking the right questions.

This role is ideally based from our Seven Hills office, however, we would also consider Newcastle for the right candidate.

The Role:

Your day to day will involve supporting branches, field employees and clients, to improve their safety outcomes. However, no two days will be the same.

One day you may be on a client site discussing high risk tasks, whilst another day you may be coaching an Account Manager through an incident. Regardless of the context, this role combines strategy, relationship building and hands-on operational support

The role responsibilities include:

- Building a trusted advisor relationship with stakeholders, providing practical and credible WHS support and coaching.
- Maintaining strong work relationships with clients, site leaders and field employees.
- Supporting branches to meet their WHS obligations and improve safety engagement.
- Conduct client and site safety reviews to help inform safe placement decisions.
- Support incident response, investigations and learning activities.
- Identify trends, challenges and opportunities to improve safety performance.
- Contribute to the delivery of our Safety Strategy.

What Success Looks Like:

We're less interested in finding someone who has all the answers and more interested in finding someone who knows how to work with people.

Our ideal candidate possesses majority of the below:

- Experience in labour hire, recruitment, mining, construction, rail,



manufacturing, logistics or a similar environment.
- A WHS qualification and practical understanding of workplace safety.
- Robust communication and confidence to engage with people at all levels.
- The ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
- A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- A genuine interest in learning, development and continuous improvement.
- The ability to travel to client sites and branch locations as required.
