About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position where you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, production and dispatch functions.

You'll take ownership of your daily responsibilities, contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse, and report to the Warehouse & Procurement Manager.

Unlike a traditional warehouse role, you'll be involved in assembling and preparing machinery and accessories for dispatch, and ensuring every product leaves our warehouse to AMS's high-quality standards.

This is a varied, hands-on role with plenty of variety, including warehouse operations, inventory control, production assembly, quality control, receiving and dispatch.

What You'll Be Doing

Warehouse Operations

- Open and prepare the warehouse each day.

- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.





- Prepare and pack machinery and equipment for dispatch.

- Receive and check supplier deliveries, including assisting with container unloads.

- Use our Inventory management software (Cin7) for stock control and order processing (training provided).

- Safely operate a forklift in accordance with company procedures.

- Maintain warehouse organisation, inventory control and cleanliness.

- Maintain the presentation of our showroom, machinery and workshop accessories.

- Work closely with the Warehouse & Procurement Manager while confidently managing your own daily responsibilities.

Production & Assembly (Training Provided)

- Assemble and package machinery, accessories, and parts.

- Perform quality control checks on machinery.

- Cut aluminium extrusion as required.

- Decant and prepare machinery cutting coolant.

General Duties

- Follow company safety procedures and policies.

- Report hazards, maintenance issues and incidents.

- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

- Support other team members as required.

Candidate Must Have

- Full Australian working rights.

- Current Queensland Open Driver Licence.

- Strong work ethic with a reliable, organised and self-motivated approach.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Previous warehouse, production or assembly experience.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative.





- Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

- Mechanically minded with an interest in machinery, manufacturing or fabrication.

- Solid problem-solving skills.

- Current LF Forklift Licence.

- Inventory or ERP software experience (Cin7 experience highly regarded).
