Maintenance Supervisor - Mechanical Fitter and Turner

EGR are currently seeking a motivated Supervisor who is enthusiastic, experienced, dedicated and reliable to join out Maintenance team in Salisbury.

About the Role:

Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental legislation and EGR requirements.

Day Shift role 6am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Carry out and plan preventative maintenance within scheduled time frames.

Work hands-on with machine tear-down, installation and repair.

Participate in and organise the development of preventative maintenance regimes for the site.

Fitting duties as required within the EGR Group (Maintain Vac Forming Equipment, Various Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment, Robotics)

Fabricating and welding (machinery components, brackets, and frames)

Leading the maintenance team of Fitters,



Electricians and Apprentices through daily maintenance operations.

About you:

Possess extensive maintenance experience within fast-paced automation based manufacturing environments. (5+ years post trade qualification) - Essential

Strong leadership skills and minimum 5 years in a supervisor role - Essential

Pneumatics and hydraulic experience - Essential.

Experience with Water pumps, Vacuum systems and Extraction Systems - Essential

Demonstrated experience working in a hydraulic press shop environment.

Ability toInterpret engineering drawings.

Basic Fabrication and Welding skills - Beneficial.

Excellent fault finding and problem solving abilities in quick-paced environments.

Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of personnel.

Strong industrial/ mechanical knowledge and experience with preventative maintenance systems.

Knowledge of "MEX" beneficial, but not required.

Required availability for overtime and on call covering afternoon shift Monday-Friday.
