Forno 46 is a busy Italian restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Manly. We are looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager / Venue Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help drive the next stage of the business.

This role is for someone who genuinely cares about customer service, attention to detail, staff standards, and smooth daily operations. You will be on the floor, leading service, supporting the team, managing guests, and making sure the venue is ready, clean, organised, and running properly every day.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead lunch, dinner, and weekend services
- Manage bookings, floor flow, wait times, and guest experience
- Train, support, and motivate FOH staff
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and organisation
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally
- Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service smooth
- Support rostering, breaks, labour control, and staff performance
- Help improve guest satisfaction, repeat customers, Google reviews, and OpenTable performance
- Support wine sales and staff product knowledge
- Lead by example during busy services

The right person will have:

- Experience as a Restaurant Manager,



Venue Manager, Assistant Manager, or strong Senior Supervisor
- Strong front-of-house and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and leadership
- Confidence managing busy weekend services
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with POS, bookings, rosters, and daily venue operations
- A professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Wine, Italian food, or premium casual dining experience will be highly regarded

What we offer:

- Full-time role, 38 hours per week
- $80,000 - $90,000 + super, depending on experience
- Performance bonus available after probation
