Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Certificate III, Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher qualification
- Current working rights in Australia
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
Key Responsibilities
As an educator at Rainbow Cottage, you will:
- Prepare and maintain engaging learning environments
- Build positive relationships with children and their families
- Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Observe, document and contribute to children's learning and development
- Foster children's confidence, wellbeing and self-esteem through positive interactions
- Maintain a safe, clean and healthy setting
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Assist in planning and implementing high-quality educational programs that meet the individual needs and interests of each child
