As our business continues to grow - and following our move into our new purpose-built headquarters in Glendenning - we are looking for a motivated Electronics Service Technician to join our technical team.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role (with potential for onsite work for the right candidate) working across a range of veterinary medical equipment, including electronic monitors, infusion pumps, lighting systems, anaesthetic machines and pneumatic devices. The role also involves calibration and servicing of anaesthetic vaporisers, ensuring all equipment meets required safety and performance standards.
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and preparing equipment used by veterinary clinics throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and repair veterinary medical equipment
- Perform electronic repairs, including soldering and desoldering
- Service and calibrate equipment, including anaesthetic machines and vaporisers
- Conduct QA and QC checks on incoming stock and serviced equipment
- Assemble and prepare equipment for dispatch
- Test and verify equipment performance and safety
- Prepare repair quotes and service documentation
- Maintain accurate service records
- Uphold workshop quality control and standards
- Support the Customer Care team as needed, reflecting our one-team culture
About You
- Experience working with electronics, electrical equipment or similar technical products
- Confident using diagnostic and electronic testing tools
- Experience in a technical, repair, workshop or manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Valuable communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Well organised with strong time management
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Formal qualifications in electronics or a related field are highly regarded, but not essential for the right candidate.
