About the Role

This is an ongoing opportunity working within the specialised freight division, delivering medical equipment and other sensitive freight requiring a high level of care and professionalism.

Successful candidates will initially work alongside an experienced driver until fully trained and confident in the role.

Hours of Work

- General start time: Between 7am and 8:00am
- Finish time: Typically 4:00pm–5:00pm, depending on daily workloads.

Type of Work

This is primarily bulk tautliner work, with an average of 4–6 deliveries per day. The role involves transporting medical equipment, batteries, and other specialised freight, requiring safe handling and excellent customer service.

- More physical than a standard parcel delivery role, with manual handling involved

Employment Status

This is an ongoing casual position with Jobwire, with the opportunity to transition to the client's permanent workforce after successful completion of the required qualifying period.

- HR Licence preferred; however, experienced MR Drivers are encouraged to apply.

The Requirements

- HR Licence preferred (MR Licence will also be considered)
- Experience driving manual trucks
- Previous HR/MR driving experience preferred
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Available for an immediate start
- Own reliable transport preferred
- Well-presented and professional
- Clean driving record and satisfactory criminal history

Pay Rates

- MR Driver: $36.50 per hour
- HR Driver: $37.00 per hour
