We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters / Fitter Machinists to join a major water treatment project in Rockhampton, QLD. This is an outstanding prospect to be involved in the commissioning and final delivery of critical infrastructure while earning $85/hr flat rate on a consistent roster.

About the Role
Working alongside experienced commissioning and engineering teams, you'll play a key role in bringing this major infrastructure project online. Duties will include commissioning support, final mechanical installations, defect rectification and system testing.
Your Responsibilities
- Support commissioning of mechanical systems
- Complete punch list and defect rectification works
- Alignment and installation verification checks
- Pressure testing and system start-up activities
- Work across pumps, valves, piping and associated mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs;
What You'll Need
- Mechanical Fitter or Fitter Machinist Trade Qualification
- Construction White Card
- Current Working at Heights
- Current EWP Licence
- Previous commissioning, shutdown or industrial project experience highly regarded
