About Our Centre

Cottage Academy Early Learning Centre is a family‑focused, boutique childcare centre in Clayfield offering nurturing care for children from 6weeks to 6 years with play‑based and personalised learning. The centre features modern, thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor environments that encourage creativity, exploration and confidence. Our dedicated educators build strong connections with families and support children to grow, learn and feel inspired. Cottage Academy is committed to quality care, community and helping every child thrive.

Role Requirements

We are looking for a fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)to join our dynamic team, within our Clayfield centre. The successful candidate will need:

- a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- a current and valid Working with Children Check
- a Current First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- experience with the NQF, NQS, EYLF & the QKLG
- an ability to interpret curriculum documents
- effective oral and written communication skills

Key Role Responsibilities

- Responsibility for the development and implementation of a kindergarten program.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Delivery of a high quality, inclusive,



educational program.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the vision, mission and values.
