Warehouse & Logistics Assistant - High Tech

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse setting and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, safety and efficiency in all aspects of warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with the receiving, checking, storage, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods
- Participate in inventory control activities, including stock counts and stocktakes
- Safely move freight, stock, and materials between storage, production, loading, and delivery areas using manual handling techniques, forklifts, and other suitable equipment
- Pack products into crates and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform general housekeeping duties
- Carry out basic warehouse maintenance tasks as required
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and safety procedures




- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required from time to time

Core skills and competencies required:

- Strong willingness to learn
- Some basic carpentry skills would be an advantage
- Sound administrative and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Problem-solving skills
- Previous warehouse or store person experience preferred
- Experience in inventory control and stocktake procedures will be highly regarded
- Current and valid Class C driver’s license (ability to drive the company manual vehicle)
- Hold a current High risk work licence - Forklift truck (LF)
- Possession of, or the ability to qualify for, an Australian defence security clearance (baseline minimum)
- As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to confirm their right to work in Australian (citizenship preferred) and successfully complete pre-employment checks (professional references, police records, proof of qualifications and ITAR screening).
