An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Trades Assistant to join a dynamic manufacturing workshop team.

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused individual who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a workshop workplace. Mechanical and electrical exposure will be highly regarded.

About the Role

Working within a busy manufacturing workshop, you will provide support to trades personnel across a variety of mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and assembly activities. This role will involve assisting with workshop operations, equipment preparation, general labouring duties, and maintaining a secure and organised work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting trades personnel with mechanical and electrical workshop activities
- Supporting assembly, installation, and manufacturing tasks
- Use of hand and power tools
- Assisting with equipment preparation and workshop maintenance
- General workshop housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Loading, unloading, and movement of materials and equipment




- Assisting with inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Supporting day-to-day workshop operations as required

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience working as a Trades Assistant within a workshop or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Exposure to mechanical and/or electrical works highly regarded
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Current Driver's Licence preferred
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Exposure to manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, oil & gas, or engineering environments
- Electrical or mechanical trade exposure highly regarded
