This is a hands‑on role where the successful candidate will be managing and working amongst a team performing daily supply chain and logistics functions, ensuring customer expectations are satisfied, KPI's are being achieved across the warehouse, understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements to all levels of the organisation.

The successful candidate will need to be process and improvement driven. We are looking for a person who can see where improvements can be made, suggest these to senior managers and implement these on site. You must be a person who leads by example and can complete tasks in a time sensitive organised manner. For you, every task is possible and achievable. You will play a key role in working to improve our facility and methods as well as driving the team to success.

As we move toward implementation of current WMS software, you must have a high level of Warehouse Management Systems experience, PC and RF Scanner experience and general IT knowledge. You will take charge in leading a team, scanning of all items, identification of all raw materials, space management, multiple bin locations per item etc. We are looking for someone who can prepare this business for growing needs into the future.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Lead and supervise a team of receiving store persons and order pickers
- Resolve discrepancies and address issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments through effective stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent overstock situations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize overall warehouse processes.




- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve collaboration.
- Ensure that all RMAs received from customers are transferred to finished goods warehouse on daily basis.
- Report and follow-up with relevant stakeholders for all rejected/obsolete/rework inventory available in warehouse.
- Ensure timely dispatch of all picking orders to prevent line stoppage.
- Oversee the receiving of shipments and verify the accuracy of received products against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Coordinate the unloading of goods, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and enforce procedures to maintain a safe and organized warehouse.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Work closely with Quality Control staff for processing and movement of raw materials that is on hold by QA (accepted or rejected).
- Maintain control of inventory with accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock taking as per set schedule in liaison with Supply Chain Manager.
- Maintain inventory of consumables that is required for warehouse use (incl., tapes, toners, printer labels, printing toners and papers and LPG gas)

To be successful for this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications with Supply Chain or Warehousing Operations (preferred)
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- ERP system exposure is a must
- Current Forklift Licence is mandatory
- WHS understanding in a warehouse environment
- Experience and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience in implementing new processes into a busy warehouse
- Experience dealing with customers and suppliers
- RF Scanning Experience
