About the Client

Our client is a respected civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure and development projects across South East Queensland. They are currently seeking experienced Civil Concreters/Pit Builders to join their team on a long-term project based in Rochedale, offering stable work and excellent rates.

What you will be doing

- Reading construction drawings and specifications for pit building and concrete works
- Setting out pit locations and levels to project requirements
- Building stormwater pits and installing pit lids, grates and access covers
- Constructing kerbs, gutters and culverts
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Installing barricades and exclusion zones
- Completing manual handling tasks as required
- Assisting with site preparation and general clean-up duties

What you will need

- Previous experience as a Civil Concreter or Pit Builder
- Proven experience constructing pits and concrete structures
- White Card
- Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to perform physical labouring duties
- Robust commitment to workplace safety
- HR Licence or operating tickets highly advantageous
