Quantum Library Supplies is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of custom-made library and commercial furniture.
Due to continued growth, QLS is seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Programmer to join our team full-time at our Wakerley facility.
This role is best suited to someone with strong CNC programming and woodworking experience who enjoys working on high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate CNC machinery efficiently and accurately
- Prepare and modify CAD drawings and CNC files
- Generate cutting lists and assembly documentation
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Work closely with production and operations teams to minimise rework and improve workflow efficiency
- Assist with assembly and production of custom timber furniture and cabinetry
- Maintain organised filing and backup systems for CNC and CAD operations
- Previous experience using Enroute CNC software
- Previous hands-on experience operating Multicam CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and SketchUp
- Proven CNC programming and machining experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team

- Cabinet making or shopfitting experience
- Experience with custom timber furniture construction and assembly methods
- Woodworking and laminating experience
- Construction White Card / OH&S; site experience
