Broken Hill Mines is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function and partner with leaders across the business to deliver strategic and operational people initiatives. This role will develop and implement people strategies that build workforce capability, support operational performance and contribute to the Company's continued growth.

About the Role

- Providing strategic HR advice and coaching to leaders across the business.
- Employee and industrial relations matters including investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Supporting enterprise agreement interpretation, consultation and workforce planning initiatives.
- Recruitment, onboarding and workforce retention strategies.
- Overseeing performance management, talent development and succession planning.
- Coordinating learning and development initiatives.
- Overseeing workers' compensation, injury management and return-to-work processes.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and company procedures.
- Managing HR reporting, systems and workforce analytics.
- Contributing to organisational improvement initiatives and supporting a positive workplace culture.

About You

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or Law.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive HR leadership, ideally within mining/resources or remote operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex ER/IR issues and EA negotiations.
- Proven ability to lead organisational change, develop leaders and influence cultural transformation across diverse stakeholder groups.




- Strategic and commercial HR leadership with operational credibility.
- High-level influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Full Australian work rights.
- Ability to relocate to Broken Hill NSW

About Broken Hill Mines

The Rasp Mine is an operating silver-lead-zinc mine in Broken Hill, with a large Mineral Resource and a 750,000tpa processing plant. The mine has operated for over 120 years, producing zinc and lead concentrates sold globally. The Pinnacles Mine, situated 15km southwest of Broken Hill, is known for containing one of the area's highest-grade and shallowest silver-zinc-lead deposits. Despite being largely undeveloped, small-scale historical mining has occurred over the past 120 years. Broken Hill Mines has recently acquired the Rasp Mine and secured a Joint Venture option for the Pinnacles Mineto consolidate the two operations and create a leading and long-term base metals operation.
