The role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Receptionist / Customer Service Officer to join our Cairns clinic full-time. This is a great opportunity to kickstart a career in allied health: you’ll be the friendly face and voice of the clinic, provide practical administration experience, and have a explicit pathway to long-term development.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome and support clients in person and over the phone with warmth and professionalism
- Book and manage appointments and clinical diaries efficiently
- Process payments and insurance claims accurately
- Manage client records, correspondence and clinic systems
- Provide administrative and client support to clinical staff




- Proactively contact clients to assist with scheduling and follow-up
- Respond to enquiries with empathy and clear communication
- Maintain a calm, clean, organised and professional reception area
- Uphold clinic policies, procedures and confidentiality requirements

About you

- Helpful, positive attitude with a desire to build strong client rapport
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Clear, qualified verbal and written communication
- Comfortable working in a structured, busy setting and confident with computers (Microsoft Office)
- Dependable team player who takes initiative and brings energy
