We are currently seeking an experiencedIndustrialMaintenance Electricianto join our team, working within a well-established manufacturing facility in the Penrith area.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working in a fast‑paced production environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring plant equipment operates safely and efficiently while minimising downtime.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Electrical fault finding and breakdown maintenance.
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance of production equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical control systems.
- PLC fault finding (programming experience is an advantage but not essential).
- Working with motors, drives, sensors, safety systems and instrumentation.
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams to maximise plant reliability.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current NSW Electrical Licence.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
- Fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- A proactive approach to safety and problem solving.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Highly regarded but not essential:
- PLC fault-finding experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens or similar).
- Experience with VSDs, servo systems and industrial automation.
- Forklift, EWP or confined space tickets.
