As an Operations Manager - Transport at JMI Express Pty LTD, you will oversee daily transport operations, improve operational performance, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure efficient service delivery.

This position requires strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills. Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Ensure management and clients receive accurate operational information and performance reports.
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices across transport activities.
- Identify operational risks and implement controls to minimise disruptions and maintain compliance.
- Review transport orders,



records and documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate onboarding of new customers and prepare, review and maintain operational documentation.
- Maintain customer accounts and process operational updates and adjustments.
- Coordinate domestic and international payment processes related to transport operations.
- Liaise regularly with customers, drivers, warehouse staff and other stakeholders to ensure efficient freight movement.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualification.
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Operations Manager - Transport.
- Outstanding commercial acumen, communication, presentation, verbal and strong written skills in English.
- Ability to thrive and perform under pressure in an intense environment; multi-tasking is a given.
- Hold the utmost ethics as regards treating customers fairly and honesty.
- A solid analytical mind, numerical skills, intellectual curiosity, a ‘self-starter’ attitude and a high level of attention to detail.
- Technical skills in trading, execution and reporting of transactions.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
