We are currently seeking Kitchen Assistants to join our team.
Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery and/ or equivalent or higher qualifications would be highly regarded.
Experience working in a commercial cooking environment such as an Aged Care Facility or Hospital will be highly regarded.
Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people
Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
Current Covid and Flu Vaccination Records would be advantageous
Successful Applicants will be required to obtain a Current NDIS Clearance Certificate
Must be willing and available to work some weekend shifts
