Tidda Workforce is currently seeking experienced Traffic Team Leaders for a large‑scale Tier 1 infrastructure project based in Sydney NSW.

This is a premium opportunity to step into a leadership role on a major long‑term project, overseeing traffic crews, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high safety standards across site operations.

Location: Sydney NSW
Role: Traffic Team Leader
Employment Type: Casual (ADHOC with ongoing potential)
Roster: Day & Night shifts (project dependent)
Pay Rate: $77.01 per hour casual
Penalty rates apply
Daily Travel Allowance: $70 per day
Additional project allowances applicable

Key Responsibilities

- Leading and supervising traffic control crews on a Tier 1 project
- Implementing and overseeing Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Ensuring site compliance with all safety and traffic regulations
- Coordinating crew movements, setup, and pack down
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors, clients, and teams
- Maintaining strong safety culture and leadership on site




- Supporting escalation and incident management where required

About You

You are an experienced and confident Traffic Team Leader with a strong background in large‑scale infrastructure projects, capable of leading crews and maintaining high safety and operational standards.

To be considered, you must have:

- Minimum 5+ years Traffic Team Leader experience on Tier 1 / large infrastructure projects
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Silica Awareness Certificate or willing to obtain
- Stop/Slow Bat Ticket
- Implement Traffic Control Plans (IMP) Ticket
- Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plans (PWZ) Ticket
- Strong understanding of TGS & TMPs
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work ADHOC shifts at short notice
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing

- TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) ticket
