The Role
We are seeking both male and female experienced Support Workers to join our Toowoomba team.
Current opportunities are available supporting participants with complex needs, including male and female participants, and we encourage applications from support workers of both genders to meet participant preferences and individual support requirements.
These roles require workers with strong experience in:
- Mental health
- Challenging behaviours
- Complex or high-risk support environments
- Previous MAYBO (or equivalent) behaviour-support training
You must be adaptable, confident, and committed to building your capability in complex support. Shifts operate 24/7, including active night shifts.
All work is offered under an ABN contractor model, providing flexibility while ensuring consistent, high-quality support for participants.
Essential Requirements
- Current Open Driver's Licence
- First Aid Certificate and current CPR
- Positive NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Proven experience supporting individuals with complex care needs
- Physically fit and able to perform active shifts
- Solid documentation and data-entry skills
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- MAYBO (or equivalent) behaviour-support training
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Willingness to complete Disability Connect's induction training
