About the Role

As a Home Loan Lending Specialist, you will guide clients through the complete home loan journey, from their initial conversation through to approval and settlement. You will take the time to understand each client’s financial position, goals and circumstances before recommending lending solutions that are well suited to their needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Conducting initial interviews with prospective home buyers, property investors and clients looking to refinance, gathering the information required to understand their goals and identify suitable lending options.

- Researching and presenting lending solutions from our broad panel of lenders, clearly explaining the available options and helping clients make informed and confident decisions.

- Managing home loan applications from initial assessment and submission through to formal approval and settlement, while keeping clients informed and supported throughout each stage of the process. (Supported by a Home Loan Associate)

- Working closely with our internal support team, lenders,



conveyancers, real estate agents and other external stakeholders to help ensure applications progress efficiently and any issues are resolved quickly.

- Providing an exceptional level of service that builds trust, confidence and long-term client advocacy, with the goal of becoming each client’s trusted point of contact for their future finance needs.

- Maintaining ongoing relationships with previous clients through regular contact, reviews and lending discussions, helping them continue to make informed decisions as their circumstances and financial goals evolve.

- Continuing to develop your skills, knowledge and capability as a Mortgage Broker through ongoing training, mentoring and support from our experienced leadership team.

- Building meaningful relationships with external referral partners who can introduce high-quality clients to our business. You will receive practical guidance, management support and assistance when identifying, approaching and developing new referral relationships.

The Successful Candidate

- You currently live on the Sunshine Coast, or are ready to make the move, and are looking for an opportunity to work full-time from our Maroochydore office as part of a supportive, high-performing team.

- Ideally, you will have 3 to 5 years experience within the mortgage broking industry, with a proven background in writing home loans and helping clients secure lending solutions that genuinely suit their needs.

- Building strong relationships comes naturally to you. You can demonstrate experience developing and maintaining relationships with referral partners, while also staying connected with existing clients so you remain their trusted go-to person for all things finance.

- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are confident managing multiple applications, priorities and client expectations at once. You are organised, dependable and understand the importance of working collaboratively to achieve robust outcomes for both clients and the wider team.





- You are an approachable and confident communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to build genuine, long-lasting relationships with ease.

- You also have a high level of computer competency and experience using finance, lending and customer relationship management systems.

Remuneration:

On offer with this full-time position isa competitive base salary, plus a generous individual bonus incentive scheme that will see the hungry finance performer earning an above industry income.
