Position Classification: Psychologist, Counsellor Lvl 1/2, Social Worker Lvl 1/2

Remuneration: $79,419 - $92,801 per annum, pro rata - dependent on qualification

About The Role

Working to minimise the harmful effects of substance use on young people, by providing and maintaining a high standard of individualised client care through the development, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Service for young people and their families.

Providing counselling and case management to young people aged 12-25 years old, who are at risk due to their substance use and providing support to the young person’s family and/or care givers.

A Counsellor position in the alcohol and other drugs sector offers a challenging and rewarding specialisation. It provides the opportunity to take pride in the field,



with a strong focus on human rights and intellectually stimulating work.
