We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for an immediate start to join our DTM team at our Dry Mill in Maryborough, QLD. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring the efficient and safe running of our operational processes.
Types of duties include but not limited to:
Loading and unloading timber packs from trucks and trailers.
Transporting timber between production, storage, and dispatch areas.
Working on gravel, uneven surfaces, and in changing weather conditions.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate material handling.
Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the timber product inventory. Including tracking of stock levels.
Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Dry Mill Manager.
Conduct visual inspections of timber products during handling for any defects.
Support other tasks as needed within the sawmill operations.
Minimum of 2 Years forklift experience is essential.
Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in industrial, timber, manufacturing, or outdoor environments.
Confident driving on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety.
Reliable, physically fit, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Strict adherence to safety protocols and reporting of equipment issues.
