We’re seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join our busy Wacol team on Day shift (6:00am – 2:00pm). This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term job security and career growth opportunities.
The Role
In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be responsible for operating and setting up machinery and equipment, and assisting with warehousing and distribution tasks using forklifts and overhead cranes.
What you’ll do:
- Operate and set up machinery and processing equipment
- Handle, load, and move steel products safely using forklifts and cranes
- Perform general warehouse duties and support dispatch operations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet production goals
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or machine operation role
- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Experience with steel products or overhead cranes (advantageous)
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
