IDC Construct is a commercial construction company. We build projects over a range of sectors such as multi-residential, industrial and commercial. IDC Construct is growing its team across the Fraser Coast, and we're looking for a Site Supervisor to help lead the way.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our commercial and industrial construction projects across Hervey Bay and the wider Fraser Coast region.
Reporting directly to the Construction Project Manager, you will take ownership of site operations, lead the Site Foreman and subcontractors, and ensure all works are delivered safely, on program, and to specification.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with robust construction knowledge and the drive to see a project through from commencement to completion. You will be the key point of accountability on site, setting the benchmark for safety, quality and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure works are delivered in line with program and specifications
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company safety standards
- Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and inductions
- Monitor productivity and proactively address delays or issues
- Maintain quality control across all stages of construction
- Liaise regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, variations, and resource requirements
- Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, and records
- Ensure site presentation and organisation meet professional standards
About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Site Supervisor or Senior Foreman role within the construction industry
- Proven experience delivering commercial and/or industrial projects
- Experience using Procore or similar site management software highly regarded
- Confident reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Strong working knowledge of WHS requirements and site safety practices
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and site management software
- Current driver's licence and White Card
