About the Role

We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a full-time basis. All three of our early childhood services are located on the same site in Ashfield.

You will work within a strong team of early childhood professionals, alongside a highly experienced Centre Director, and collaborate regularly with allied health professionals embedded in the service, creating practical, on-the-job learning.

In this role you will:

- Create a safe, calm, and inclusive learning workplace for children
- Plan and teach in ways that are meaningful, play-based, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework




- Work collaboratively with allied health professionals as part of the centre’s integrated approach to children’s learning and development
- Build respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to high‑quality programs that meet regulatory standards and contemporary practice
- Step into the Responsible Person role when required, with clear leadership support

About you

You will bring:

- An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children from birth to school age in a centre-based setting, with a preference for preschool experience
- A solid understanding of child development and inclusive practice
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine interest in ongoing professional learning
- Practical knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Approved Child Protection training (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)
- Mandatory national child safety training (Geccko)
- All employees at The Infants’ Home must have valid working rights in Australia and hold a current NSW Working with Children Check.
