Programmed are seeking reliable and motivated Timber Bridge Maintenance Labourers to join a dedicated maintenance crew responsible for the repair, maintenance, and reconstruction of timber bridges throughout the Scenic Rim region.
As part of a skilled crew, you will assist with the maintenance, repair, and reconstruction of timber bridges across the Scenic Rim. This role offers a variety of work in different locations, where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance, repair, and reconstruction of timber bridges.
- Carry out general labouring duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Assist with timber construction and structural repairs.
- Operate chainsaws and other equipment where required.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in construction, civil works, carpentry,
or general labouring.
- Confidence working with timber and using hand and power tools.
- Experience operating chainsaws (highly regarded).
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- The ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a commitment to safety.
- White Card.
- Current Driver Licence.
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
