The Merribee is looking for a fun and full of energy Venue Manager. This exciting role will be handle all aspects of the Merribee Wedding Venue, with a big focus on guest relations and ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience. This role is a full time role.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage The Merribee including guest delivery, food and beverage, grounds presentation and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Oversee and manage weddings, ensuring they are delivered at a high standard, and couples leave with an amazing experience and review.

Handle effective communications with couple along their journey, across check-in, wedding day, check out and follow up.

Resolve any guest issues or complaints in a timely and effective way

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the property

Review and follow policy for all couple documents including invoicing, payments and collections.

Effectively manage general accommodation guests, delivering an amazing experience.

Implement and oversee systems and procedures to streamline guest services operations

Analyse guest feedback and data to identify areas for improvement

Staff rostering,

Weekly reporting and purchase orders

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (2+ years) in a similar guest services or events management role, ideally within the wedding industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach

Proficient in using technology and booking systems

Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Work schedule i nvolves essential weekend shifts, with the flexibility to structure your full time hours over 4 days.
