About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a busy reception while providing exceptional customer service with warmth and professionalism.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in General Practice.
- Experience using Best Practice software.
- Sound knowledge of Medicare billing, bulk billing and private billing.
- Experience identifying, investigating and resolving Medicare claim rejections and billing errors.
- Understanding of Medicare item numbers and eligibility requirements.
- Excellent appointment scheduling and diary management skills.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy setting.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
