SALARY $88,000 + Superannuation per year

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring residential construction projects, including new homes, duplexes, granny flats, renovations and extensions.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, building codes and construction standards to support the accurate execution of building works.
- Coordinate daily site activities by scheduling subcontractors, trades, materials and equipment to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Inspect construction work and building materials to ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve on-site issues, and report project status, timelines and quality outcomes to management.
- Estimate material quantities, assist in preparing quotations and monitor material usage to support cost-effective project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, certifiers and other stakeholders to coordinate construction activities and resolve site-related matters.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in coordinating project schedules,



monitoring construction timelines and supporting the timely completion of projects within budget.
- Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, progress documentation and project-related correspondence throughout all stages of construction.

Skill & Experience

- Associate Degree, Diploma or higher qualification in Building, Construction Management, Civil Construction, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience in residential construction, site supervision or building coordination.
- Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans and specifications.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction workplace.
- Current White Card is essential. A current Australian driver’s licence is highly desirable.
