Belmont Therapy Programs (BTP)
Belmont Therapy Programs (BTP) is a team of multidisciplinary professionals including Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Art Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Music Therapists, and Allied Health Assistants. About the Role
The Exercise Physiologist will have the following responsibilities:
Deliver core exercise and movement services to a broad range of mental health presentations in a group format only.
Work collaboratively with team members including other Allied Health staff, Nursing staff, and Treating Psychiatrists.
Utilise effective communication skills to optimise clinical outcomes and work collaboratively with clients.
Facilitate inpatient and day patient therapeutic groups.

Essential Criteria and Qualifications
Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Exercise Physiologist and delivery of clinic and in patient services
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently and autonomously within a team
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Experience working with clients with complex needs in a hospital setting and presenting with severe and persistent mental health issues
