About the Position
The Enrichment Coordinator P-12 is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an effective program which provides both support and extension opportunities for students from Prep to Year 12 using targeted systems of support. The role has oversight of enrichment teachers, enrichment aides, communication and evidence-based practice.
The successful applicant will:
- Lead the enrichment program P-12:oversee support, intervention (MTSS) and extension across the College, using data to design, implement and monitor systems that work
- Shape policy and practice:advise Heads of School on programs, adjustments and strategy, and help build a whole-school culture where academic support and extension are genuinely valued
- Develop your team:supervise, mentor and timetable enrichment teachers and aides, and support their induction, growth and documentation for student verification
- Partner with families and specialists:liaise with parents, teachers and external providers (educational psychologists, speech pathologists, OTs) to get the right support to the right student
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills
- Experience working within a school setting
Requirements of the Position
- Knowledge of enrichment (including MTSS) and extension philosophy and practice.
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers, including compliance with CPD hours
- Applicants must be a Christian and an active member of their church.
