We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Canberra, ACT.
Truck Driver
Must be able to drive Road Ranger
Heavy Rigid Beavertail Truck - transporting loads of generic plant up to 12 tonnes
Machinery experience - loading and unloading
Assisting with general tasks including loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and traffic control
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Working as part of a collaborative team to deliver high-quality construction outcomes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Casual position with opportunities for progression for the right candidate
What we’re looking for
A valid and current HR driver's licence
Current Asbestos and Silica Awareness training
Strong knowledge of work health and safety requirements in a construction environment
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
Valuable communication and problem-solving skills
A commitment to quality, safety, and environmental best practices
Experience driving MC and HC vehicles will be highly regarded
