About the Role
This is a hands-on bookkeeping role where you will manage your own client portfolio and provide accurate, timely bookkeeping support across a range of industries. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Bank reconciliations and transaction coding
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Payroll processing
- BAS preparation and lodgement
- EOFY adjustments including accruals and prepayments
- Superannuation processing
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and maintain accurate records
- General bookkeeping and data entry across multiple client files
About You
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally within a public practice or accounting firm environment
- Proficient in Xero, experience with MYOB or QuickBooks also well regarded
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines independently
- Registered BAS Agent or working towards registration is highly advantageous
- A positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
