We are looking for an experienced part-time or full-timeveterinarynurseto join our team of 7veterinarians and 20veterinary nursing staff.

We are a busy small animal hospital that strives toprovide the best patient care in a qualified manner. Among the usual diagnostics we have the ability to provide patients with services such as orthopaedics, complex medical work ups, chemotherapy, in houseCT, and endoscopy.

Our team of vets and nurses have specialist interests across many facets of veterinary science. You just have to let us know what you are interested in, and we will do our best to support it.

The shifts will include Monday to Friday and some weekends on a rotating roster.

The primary responsibilities for this position include:

- Experience in monitoring general anaesthesia, surgical monitoring and surgical assistance/scrubbing
- The best standard of care for our surgical and medical cases, including but not limited to pre- and post-operative care.
- Experience in IV catheter placement and blood collection
- Experience using Idexx in-house blood machines.




- Emergency and critical care
- Dentistry
- CT/Radiology and ultrasound assistance
- Reception and client service, including somenurseconsultations, admissions and discharges
- We also provide care for exotic patients if this is something you want to learn or be part of

The ideal candidate must have Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Equivalent and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a veterinary nurse in clinic.

The applicant should have excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work well in a supportive team environment.
